A Train lift can be useful to easily access an area further away, or to avoided a congested area.

London Midland can take a limited number of cycles free on their local services. ( please check their website)

 

 

Cross City Line Lichfield TV - Sutton Coldfield -Bham-Redditch. Trains every few minutes all day, Sundays every 30 mins.  (Lift at Lichfield City.)

 

 

Lichfield - Redditch rail service is very useful if you wish to avoid the West Midlands section of National Cycle Route 5. Route 5 passes the front entrance of Redditch station.

 

Trent Valley line. Stafford-Rugeley-Lichfield TV. -Tamworth - Atherstone.

(Steps at Lichfield south bound)

 

 

Walsall

Chase Line. Birmingham N.S. Walsall - Bloxwich - Hednesford - Cannock - Rugeley. With connections for Stafford.

 

(Cannock Station has cycle lockers.

A refundable £1 coin is required)

 

Wrexham and Shropshire

Sadly service ended on Friday 28th January. 2011

 

Telford has it’s own Cycle network, including the Silkin way to Coalport, and  Severn Valley.
