CTC was formed in 1878 & works for all cyclists

protecting cyclists’ right to use the roads, working for

improved off road access and for better public transport links.

 

Members enjoy free third party insurance cover

and travel information and access to more than 200 local

groups and national and regional CTC events

 

Cycle Touring and Campaigning magazine

is published 6 times each year by CTC and is mailed

 free to members.

The magazine first appeared in 1878 as the

Bicycle Touring Club Monthly Circular.

 

CTC Shop online as well as discounts

 of up to 50% negotiated with several cross channel ferry

operators.

 

CTC membership includes £5 million third party insurance

cover & legal claims advice to all full CTC members in the UK.

 

CTC was also instrumental in establishing the

National Cycling Strategy and works with the

Government, influencing Parliament by our membership

and support of the Cyclist’s Public Affairs Group.

CTC is committed to improving safety provision and access for cyclist’s,

both on and off-road.
