Cycling Books - Cycling Books
Hi there, We are a small independent publisher who specialises in cycling titles. To coincide with National Bike Week (www.bikeweek.org) we are publishing two books. 50 Quirky Bike Rides in England & Wales by Rob Ainsley Thunder & Sunshine is the sequel to Alastair Humphreys epic 5 year cycle around the world on a budget of £7000 which Sir Ranulph Fiennes hailed as “the first great adventure of the new millennium”. We have printed an A5 leaflet with details about our bike books with a special offer. We are hoping to distribute at various events during next week. It is promoting not only these books, but other cycling books from our list. The printed offer is replicated on www.eye-books.com/bikeweek and wondered if you would be willing to let your members know about the offer. I hope that this will be of interest to you and your members. CYCLING BACK TO HAPPINESS - ADVENTURE ON THE NORTH SEA CYCLE ROUTE by Bernie Friend
Hello fellow Cycling folk,
I have just written a book about my cycling trip
around the North Sea Cycle Route to raise money for Cancer Research UK,
after very sadly losing both my mother and mother-in-law to brain
tumours, within just 12 months of each other.
I made the trip as a tribute to them and to beat my
own fears and travelling phobias. It may sound like depressing material
for the razor-to-wrist brigade, but is the complete opposite - an
uplifting tale of two wheeled therapy on an inner and outer journey
through northern Europe's obscure cycling backwaters, with kind and
quirky strangers on the road helping put a smile back on my face. It
does just what it says on the tin!
A mention somewhere, on your websites or club
newsletters, would be a massive help and greatly appreciated!
Thanks for listening,
Bernie Friend
